Kirby Heyborne – Unforgettable!

For the first time ever-- Kirby Heyborne (that's me!) will appear live in concert at Archer High School in Lawrenceville, GA, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 7PM! Kirby (again, that's me!) welcomes special guest, Sarah Morgann (not me...or is it? J/K It's not. Besides being a girl, the main difference between us is that Sarah is a vocal powerhouse. I on the other hand know how to get power from an outlet in my house.). Together they will perform selections from their new duet album, "Us." (That's her and me together.) The rest of the show will be filled with Kirby's music, stories, and a sweater vest recently gifted to Kirby. (Thanks Mrs. Kirby.) Tickets are $15/person or $50 for a family of 6 or more. Tickets are availble online or at the door. There are a llimited number of VIP passes available for purchase.

Kirby Heyborne blends humor, heartwarming stories, audience interaction and music into a memorable and fun concert for adults and families. Heyborne’s songs are about moments of happiness, sorrow, courage, and hope. Kirby states: “We all have moments in our lives when we don’t feel like we can make it through another day. But somehow we find the strength. Sometimes it’s a friend or a family member who offers a hand of comfort. Other times we rely on our faith to get us through.

Heyborne has received critical acclaim for his starring roles in the award-winning World War Two drama “Saints and Soldiers”, the lighthearted family comedy “The R.M.”, and the award-winning quixotic comedy “Pirates of the Great Salt Lake.” He has had starring roles in 14 features and three short flms. Kirby has also appeared on the WB’s “Everwood” and many national commercials. Kirby was seen as a recurring character on the hit FOX sitcom “Free Ride.”

When he is not flming, Kirby directs and performs with his improv comedy troupe, The Society. He has read many books for Random House Books on Tape including “The Young Man and the Sea” by Rodman Philbrick, “Learning to Sing” by Clay Aiken, and “Black Swan Green” by David Mitchell. As an audio book narrator, Kirby has received Audio File Magazine’s Earphone award for excellence in narration.

As a musician - Heyborne is a rare performer who brings an honest palpable vulnerability to his Folksy/Pop music. His warm voice and intricate guitar color his well received albums “Inside” and “Braver Days.” His intimate work on his Christmas album, “Merry White Tree in the Night,” has garnered the highest praise from critics and fans alike.

Kirby has released four successful solo albums, one duet album, performed across the country, and had songs featured in four flms. The release of his fourth album, “The Elm Tree,” March 31, 2009, is his “most compelling and best yet”, says producer Nathan DeVore. “His music is very Simon and Garfunkel-ie”.

Heyborne, now solo, is currently touring the country and enchanting audiences with his storytelling and intimate songs. He resides with his wife and 3 children in Los Angeles.

Combine Kirby’s amazing vocal and musical talents together with his keen sense of humor and his flair for telling a story and you experience a performance like none other! His special blend of talent, entertainment and genuine rapport with his audience makes each performance a unique, dynamic and unforgettable experience for all ages!
